Why do you want to run for the study commission?

Learn how county government works because politics is local. To see if there are ways to make it better in serving the people of Gallatin County.

What skills and experience do you have that you think will help you in your role as a study commissioner?

My major in college was political science. I have been active in local politics since 1986, and have managed 6 campaigns. I also sat on the county study commission in 1995.

Have you ever served in local government, either as an elected official, or volunteered on an advisory board? If so, when, and it what capacity?

1978 – 1983    I was treasurer for the HRDC

What would you hope to achieve if elected to serve as a study commissioner?

Find ways to learn about and serve the county which has been a good home for my family and maybe make this a better place for my family to grow and become good citizens.
